N. “Brad” Barkley is the Vice President of Bloomfield State Bank and is in
charge of the Bank’s two Indianapolis offices. He is a fourth-generation member
of the Barkley–Haig family that has guided Bloomfield State Bank for over a
century. An alumnus of the University of Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Banking,
Mr. Barkley also earned an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and is a
chartered financial analyst. Before joining Bloomfield State Bank over 10 years
ago, Mr. Barkley was Director of Investments for Farm Bureau Insurance of
Indiana. As such he oversaw Farm Bureau’s investment portfolio, including
real-estate loans, stocks, and bonds; at the time Mr. Barkley was responsible
for $1.3 billion in investments.
