 Director
Emeritus Charles Biery has been a director of Bloomfield State Bank for over
40 years and served as co-chairman for nearly 25. Having graduated from
Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Mr. Biery owned
and operated an accounting practice in Bloomfield before joining the
Bloomfield State Bank team in 1953. At the Bank he has filled many roles,
including executive vice president in accounting and the Bank’s investment
officer. Mr. Biery was the first Executive Director of the Bloomfield
Housing Authority and has served the Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce as its
president. Mr. Biery is at the head of a Bloomfield State Bank legacy of his
own as the father of Kent Biery, branch manager of the Bank’s North Walnut
location in Bloomington.
