William
B. “Benny” McNeely has served as Bloomfield State Bank’s president for the past
seven years. A graduate of Indiana University’s School of Business and the
University of Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Banking, Mr. McNeely has served in
virtually every banking capacity in the nearly forty years of his exemplary
career. Before joining the Bloomfield State Bank team, he was president and
board member at Union Bank and Trust Company, owned by First Financial Bancorp
of Ohio; under his leadership the Bank doubled in size and was the most
profitable unit of First Financial’s holdings. Mr. McNeely spent 18 years as a
city councilman in Seymour, Indiana and is an expert on municipal finance. He
is a past member of Jackson County’s Industrial Development Board, and he was
instrumental in structuring the necessary incentives which helped persuade many
employers to locate in the county. The Governor of Indiana has named Mr.
McNeely a Sagamore of the Wabash.
