Fred
J. Merritt is an entrepreneur from Carmel, Indiana and is the CEO and principal
owner of Riverside Manufacturing, a company focused on harsh-environment
electronics. Under Mr. Merritt’s leadership the company grew from 35 employees
to over 500, and revenue increased from 5 million to over 50 million dollars. In
addition to Riverside, he has an ownership stake in multiple other businesses. A
Fort Wayne, Indiana native, he graduated from Indiana University with a degree
in public finance. Mr. Merritt is a past member of the Young Entrepreneurs’
Organization and is now active with the World Presidents’ Organization of
Entrepreneurs. Mr. Merritt also has extensive experience in banking. Before
acquiring Riverside, he served in many facets of the lending field, working as a
commercial banker and as Sr. Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions for
Huntington National Bank in Indianapolis for 10 years. Mr. Merritt has been a
director of Bloomfield State Bank since 2005 and sits on the Audit Committee and
the Loan Committee.
