Emeritus H. Lavon Yoho is currently the Executive Director of the Bloomfield
Housing Authority. He also owned and operated Hoosiers Insurance in Bloomfield
for decades. Mr. Yoho, a native of Greene County, has spent a lifetime giving
back to the county. His service has included over 20 years as a sub-district
superintendent for the Indiana Department of Transportation. He helped form the
Eastern Heights Water Utility, served the Greene County Development Corporation
as its president and treasurer, and was a township trustee for six years. Having
served as Indiana’s longest-continuing Republican county chairman (over 35
years), Mr. Yoho is highly respected on both sides of the political aisle as an
influential mainstay of Greene County political and civic life. Mr. Yoho joined Bloomfield State Bank’s board in 1978. He serves on the Bank’s
Trust Committee.
