Bloomfield State Bank
Debit Cardholder:
Bloomfield State Bank has
added a new debit card transaction monitoring security
feature to your debit card. This new feature is the
Falcon Network, and it will help us immediately detect
when a cardholder has possible fraudulent activity
occurring on their debit card.
The Falcon Network
software allows for real-time monitoring of all
transactions made by you and it will learn what
transactions are considered normal for you. During this
process each transaction is assigned a score for
potential fraud alert and compared to your transaction
history patterns (scored 1 thru 999; where 999 is
considered the most fraudulent). If a transaction is
attempted that is out of your normal transaction
pattern, the software will recognize it as possible
fraudulent activity. A representative of Bloomfield
State Bank will call you at the phone number we have on
file to verify you authorized the transaction in
question. The representative will introduce themselves
as being a member of Bloomfield State Bank’s Security
Department. If you cannot be reached, the
representative will leave a message regarding the
transactions case number as well as a call back number.
If we cannot reach you one of our analysts will review
the transaction’s case and use their best judgment in
the decision of denying potential fraudulent activity.
In the event your debit card was determined to show
fraudulent activity, you can contact us anytime going
forward to change your debit card’s status back to
active or to order a new card number.
The addition of the Falcon
Network to our software systems is just another security
feature for your account’s protection. If you have
